Hi, Keystrokes and passwords still work when in private browing mode.
do i need to have the administrative password to install this program? i don’t have that password is there anyway around it?
Hi Sarah, For standard edition, you don’t need password to install.
This is an inquiry for a colleague whose passwords for Google AdWords seem to be compromised repeatedly, even after being changed. She has a MacBook, and connects to wired ethernets at work and at home. Both feed directly into a cable modem. So, we are left to believe that somehow, somebody has installed a keylogger on her Mac (running the latest Snow Leopard updates) or that somehow her traffic is being intercepted downstream. She has run MacScan on her Mac, but nothing has shown up. So, how can keyloggers be detected, both yours, and in general? Will reinstallation of the OS get rid of them, or do they burrow into the boot ROM, or some such place that is independent of the OS itself? Many thanks for any guidance and enlightenment.
