I’m looking for way to somehow read cleared logs of MSN/Azureus.
Not those that have already been cleared but those that will be cleared on future.
Like if I say something to someone with Azureus (Messenger program) and then clear the conversation logs, how can I somehow get that conversation still stay in my computer?

I have been an avid reader for some time but I have a question. The kids all have computers now (we all have macs) and I was wondering if there was a way to check up on them every once in a while. I am suspecting foul play on my machine, and need to monitor what it’s being used to – so wondering if anyone can recommend a keystroke logging program – I’ve never used one before, so unsure whats out there.
I guess what I would like it to do is:
Record accurately what is typed on my keyboard.
What time it was typed.
And if possible in what program.
It should also do this in the background – and NOT alert the user that it’s active.
Guess thats about it – unless theres anything else I should know……..

I’m doing some consulting for someone and they would like a program instaleld on their iMac that can log what their kids are doing on the computer. I’ve installed software like this on the PC before for windows called eblaster. The program will monitor everything that is done on the computer and then e-mail it to their parents. Is there anything like this for the mac. I don’t necessarily agree with montioring people like this but I guess the customer is always right.
This software is what i need and i like it very much.

Does anyone know of a good keylogger for mac that will record all passwords used such as ones for myspace, hotmail etc. I ask because Im pretty sure my girls doing the dirty and the only way to find out is when she uses my Mac.

There absolutely is legitimate use for this MAC keylogger . As a responsible parent of curious teens I am liable for what they do on my network. Some things that kids do on the net could be considered criminal even though the kids might not know it. It’s my job to make sure that my network isn’t being used in ways that I myself could get in trouble for. I think that could absolutely be a useful tool in doing exactly that. In this day when teens are often being arrested and charged as sex offenders for sending explicit pictures to each other – protect them from themselves. I’ll bet that those parents of arrested teens wish that they had done a little more to prevent it.
I can see where this could be used for insidious purposes but so can a lot of things.

Hi there! I wanted to try a trial version of Aobo Mac OS X keylogger Standard version. I’ve done everything according to the instructions. Unfortunatley the programme only records the websites I am using on my Mac. When I try to view the keystrokes or screenshots it says “No key logs available to view’ and “No screens captured yet”. What Im really interested in are the keystrokes. can you help, have I set sth in a wrong way? I would really like to buy a full version of your programme as Ive read a lot good recommmendations, but because it doesnt record any keystrokes, just websites, im not sure now..Thanks you in advance for your help

i had the same problem..the problem is, it is said that you can use the standard version of this programme without knowing the administrator password i was trying to do the trial version (standard aobo) on my son’s mac and i couldnt record any keystrokes. i just tried what you wrote and i cant do it as in order to make any preferences changes i need to know administrator password??? how to do that??

Hi, you are using an account with restricted access so you can’t enable assistive device? Then you need to login to the mac with your main admin account and change the setting to enable assistive device firstly.

Sorry, the keylogger is only a logging software for mac, you can’t gain access to the computer. But you can read the logs to see who are using your mac and get some traces to find him.
