I was just wondering if this software also records passwords typed into amsn installed on my macbook (leopard). I am not talking about the windows live mesenger but AMSN.

Yes, the professional edition can record amsn passwords. It does record passwords from safari or firefox or other applications.
It can record yahoo/Myspace/Facebook passwords

There absolutely is legitimate use for this MAC keylogger . As a responsible parent of curious teens I am liable for what they do on my network. Some things that kids do on the net could be considered criminal even though the kids might not know it. It’s my job to make sure that my network isn’t being used in ways that I myself could get in trouble for. I think that could absolutely be a useful tool in doing exactly that. In this day when teens are often being arrested and charged as sex offenders for sending explicit pictures to each other – protect them from themselves. I’ll bet that those parents of arrested teens wish that they had done a little more to prevent it.
I can see where this could be used for insidious purposes but so can a lot of things.

Does anyone know of a good keylogger for mac that will record all passwords used such as ones for myspace, hotmail etc. I ask because Im pretty sure my girls doing the dirty and the only way to find out is when she uses my Mac. Is there such software that actually does this on the Mac as the ones Ive tried never save passwords for myspace, etc
Would appreciate any help

My son has a mac book pro.
He is young and hanging with boys that are less than desirable.
I want to put this key logger on his computer but will he be able to find it?

I’m doing some consulting for someone and they would like a program installed on their iMac that can log what their kids are doing on the computer. I’ve installed software like this on the PC before for windows called Microkeylogger. The program will monitor everything that is done on the computer and then e-mail it to their parents. Is there anything like this for the mac. I don’t necessarily agree with montioring people like this but I guess the customer is always right.
This software is what i need and i like it very much.

I am suspecting foul play on my machine, and need to monitor what it’s being used to – so wondering if anyone can recommend a keystroke logging program – I’ve never used one before, so unsure whats out there.

I guess what I would like it to do is:
Record accurately what is typed on my keyboard.
What time it was typed.
And if possible in what program.
It should also do this in the background – and NOT alert the user that it’s active.
Guess thats about it – unless theres anything else I should know……..

I have been an avid reader for some time but I have a question. The kids all have computers now (we all have macs) and I was wondering if there was a way to check up on them every once in a while. We all have macs running OS X. and I have read the oriely ‘control’ your mac from afar. Now i found this Mac spy software, it is just what i need, thanks.

I’m wondering if there is any not-expensive chat monitor for mac computers? Im looking for one that runs in stealth and can email to remote location.
I purchased this program and it works well for me. IT can record MSN chat conversations and send the logs to me by email.
