What Is a Keylogger?
A keylogger (also called keystroke logger) is an application/tool which is installed in your computer or mobile to record the keystrokes typed.
Generally speaking, there are two types: keylogger hardware and keylogger software. When we talk about keyloggers, we usually refer to software keyloggers.
Some software keyloggers are bundled with other programs which help themselves be installed to the target computer without your notice. They are spyware and dangerous for your online personal information.
However, not all the keyloggers are dangerous. Some other software keyloggers are useful and need manually installation and even admin password to install onto your computer. They are usually used as parental control software or employee monitoring software.
The use of parental control keylogger ranges from computers to mobiles. Today keyloggers are becoming more and more powerful. One of them is Aobo keylogger for Mac for Mac OS X users. It’s called keylogger but more than a keylogger with the functions of tracking keystrokes, sending reports, capturing screenshots and recording websites.
If you have young kids and want to keep eyes on their Internet use so as to keep them going well with the cyber space, a keylogger for Mac is the best choice for you. But be careful about keylogger purchase scams in case you spend extra money.
Caution: Some companies sell keyloggers without the clear update policy and they may ask users for “renewal fee to continue using the keylogger” after some time. Please be aware of that before purchase!
